Our adoption fees are $200.00 for puppies 6 months old and younger, and that includes spay/neuter surgery microchip and all age appropriate vaccinations. $ 165.00 for adults. All of our dogs are spayed and neutered , We DO NOT ADOPT OUT PUPPIES SO THAT THEY CAN BE BRED so do not even ask If you need help getting your pit spayed or neutered we will be glad to help in any way that we can .They are up to date on all shots and on heart worm and flea & tick prevention. They are crate trained and housebroken or at least on their way. They are socialized with children and other dogs. Most of our dogs also have some beginning obedience training but can always use more because its a never ending process. You must either own a crate or purchase one because it makes the dog feel more secure to have its own private place and it reduces the chance of having to re home the dog because it tore up or pooped on your Persian Carpet while you were asleep or away, It is not cruel or inhumane if used properly.
We know each individual dog fairly well and which kind of environment the dog will do best in. We will only place one of our dogs in a home that is both the right match for the dog and is committed to the dog because of the its personality. Selecting a dog based on the dog's picture or story alone is a great way to wind up with a mismatch. The cutest dog in the world may not seem so cute when the dog's physical and emotional needs are more than the family can offer. Just as the ugliest dog in the world can become the most adorable when the family finds the dog is a great fit. Practice good judgement and look at the dogs' energy levels, quirks, habits, likes and dislikes. This is what you'll be living with.
We encourage applicants that want to adopt because you know the breed, know the health problems, know the Pit Bull personality, and because you know that no matter what, this dog needs love and companionship. If you don't know that much about the Bully Breeds then we suggest you to do some research. We have a link to Pit Bull Rescue Central and that is a great place to start.
